Job Overview

Power-Flo Technologies Inc. is a prominent distributor of electrical supplies, seeking a Field Sales Executive to enhance our operations. Our diverse group of companies includes distributors, fabricators, manufacturers, and repair services for motors and pumps, primarily serving the New York metropolitan area, New England, and Upstate New York. As a Master Distributor and Manufacturers Representative, we provide REAL SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering regular sales updates to management.
  • Educating potential and current clients about product features and advantages.
  • Establishing and nurturing enduring relationships with both new and existing clients within a designated sales area.
  • Traveling within the assigned territory to conduct in-person meetings with clients.
  • Consistently achieving or surpassing sales goals by promoting company products to a diverse clientele.
  • Creating and presenting compelling sales proposals to stimulate sales and encourage repeat business.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Formulating and executing a successful sales strategy to boost sales performance.
  • Maintaining precise records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales activities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility through effective marketing materials.
  • Analyzing competitors' offerings and market trends.
  • Staying informed about the latest industry advancements by participating in meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Negotiating strategically with clients to finalize sales.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in outside sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Strong consultative sales abilities.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Valid and clean driver's license for necessary travel.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $49,500 annually plus commission.
