Position Overview:
The ERP Sales Executive plays a crucial role in promoting and selling ERP Software solutions to medium and large enterprises. This position is pivotal in managing the sales process, including forecasting, resource allocation, and strategic account planning.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to refine and enhance sales approaches.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
- Adhere to ComTec's structured sales methodologies and utilize defined metrics for performance evaluation.
- Document and organize all sales-related materials in accordance with company protocols.
Additional Duties:
- Partner with the Marketing team to design and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional events.
- Keep sales forecasts updated and accurate.
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level and VP-level executives at target organizations.
- Coordinate external resources to assist in closing sales opportunities.
- Develop a network of industry contacts to facilitate prospecting efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of time and expenses, submitting reports promptly.
- Manage customer relationships during the initial onboarding phase, transitioning them to the Customer Success Manager thereafter.
Required Skills:
- Experience in ERP markets and understanding of manufacturing/business processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional sales prospecting abilities through various communication channels.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven success in selling to executive-level decision-makers.
- Professional demeanor in all interactions, especially under pressure.
- Resourceful with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in task management.
- Ability to resolve issues independently while knowing when to escalate matters.
- Focus on client satisfaction and results-driven.
- Respectful treatment of all colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the business and manufacturing sectors is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in new business sales is essential.
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment with use of computer and office equipment.
- All administrative responsibilities typical for this role.
Additional Considerations:
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
