Position Overview:

As a member of Broadcom Corporation, you will join a newly established cybersecurity sales team dedicated to promoting Broadcom's premier security solutions to a diverse range of strategic clients. We are seeking seasoned Account Directors with a strong background in cybersecurity who are eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in the cybersecurity sector, including market trends and competitive analysis, to inform potential and existing clients about the value of Broadcom's security solutions.
  • Proactively engage with a targeted list of high-value accounts to identify new business opportunities and guide them from initial discovery through to successful closure.
  • Negotiate and finalize enterprise agreements to surpass all sales and revenue objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key executives and senior decision-makers, including CISOs, Heads of Network Security, CIOs, and CTOs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Marketing) to enhance product adoption within target accounts.
  • Maintain detailed and current account and territory strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on business opportunities to sales and executive leadership.
  • Stay informed about product developments and collaborate with Product Management to understand features and functionalities that address client needs.
  • Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept (PoCs) with Sales Engineers and Product Management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on selling enterprise security solutions, including areas such as Cloud Security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust (ZTNA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Security (EDR), Advanced Threat solutions, Cloud Access Security (CASB), UEBA, and Insider Threat.
  • Proven track record of successfully penetrating Large Enterprise Accounts, particularly Fortune 1000 companies and those in highly regulated sectors, while building a robust pipeline and closing opportunities exceeding $100k.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • A demonstrated passion for cybersecurity sales and a clear understanding of how to achieve success in this field.

Compensation and Benefits:

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is between $168,000 and $280,000, which includes Sales Incentive Commission as per relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and agreements.
