Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of all properties within our portfolio. This key role will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to enhance the value and appearance of our commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Direct and manage the activities of Facilities staff and outside vendors to optimize efficiency and achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Facilities Help Desk and Corrigo System: Manage the 24-hour facilities help desk and Corrigo system, providing periodic reports to the field on quality and timeliness of work performed and suggestions for improvements.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Work with the Housing Inspection Manager to develop and monitor procedures for the inspection of all buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Procurement and Audits: Develop prudent procurement practices, conduct regular audits of Facilities Department vendors to ensure quality of work, and maintain and update repair and maintenance-related files.
  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Develop annual repair and maintenance budgets for each site, in conjunction with program operations, and assist in the development of strategic planning for the Real Estate Department.
  • Space Allocation and Layouts: Oversee the coordination of space allocation and layouts for administrative buildings, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee and direct Help Desk response to maintenance, construction, life safety, facilities' equipment use and safety practices, and all facets of local, state, federal, energy conservation, environmental, and ADA compliance.
  • Emergency Response and On-Call Management: Manage on-call personnel and procedures for emergency and routine service requirements.
  • Financial Management: Generate and approve APVs (Accounts Payable Vouchers) for the Facilities Department and generate letters to 3rd party landlords advising of property inspection results.
