Job Summary:

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance, repair, and operations activities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with facilities and operations teams, including vivarium operations, lab managers, union technicians, and third-party service providers.
  • Oversee and/or coordinate maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
  • Perform facilities inspections and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate and manage move, add, and change activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
  • Manage vendor relationships and train vendors on work orders and billing procedures.
  • Process invoices and ensure proper cost center coding.
  • Review periodic reports, including financials, and explain variances.
  • Work with the finance team to correct errors.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of project management or facilities management experience in regulated environments, such as hospital/healthcare, life sciences/pharmaceutical, and/or other critical environments.
  • H.S. Diploma
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet.
  • Ability to use a work order system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with vendor/work order management.
