Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for processing overpayments made to our Management Services Organization (MSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process returned refunds and validate refund department batches
  • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding
