About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Account Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Patient Account Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless interactions with our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely resolution of account-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of patient accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient accounts, including billing, insurance, and payment information.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
