Key Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential but not limited to:
  • Embody and uphold the core values and service commitments of Hotel Emma.
  • Warmly greet all guests, ensuring a memorable experience at the hotel.
  • Relay all relevant information to the Director of Front Office.
  • Assist in managing payroll for the relevant departments.
  • Support the scheduling processes for departments under your oversight.
  • Engage in and/or lead essential meetings related to daily operations.
  • Oversee the training and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication systems for guest and departmental interactions.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments daily regarding operational matters that require attention.
  • Report to work punctually for scheduled shifts, adhering to uniform standards as per company policy.
  • Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures relevant to this role.
  • Proactively greet guests and colleagues in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Gather feedback from guests and team members as needed, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
Job Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills with both guests and colleagues are essential.
  • Professional demeanor and representation of the Hotel Emma culture is expected.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Technical proficiency, including knowledge of property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A flexible schedule is necessary, including availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and bending without restrictions are expected. The schedule will be reflective of business needs. Occasional long and unusual hours may be necessary. Strong listening skills and a compassionate approach to employee-related personal and professional matters are essential.
