Position Overview:
American Esoteric Laboratories is in search of a Laboratory Operations Manager for the night shift.


We seek a seasoned laboratory expert who possesses a keen eye for detail, is process-oriented, and excels in a dynamic, patient-centered, and demanding environment.


Work Schedule:
Night Shift: Monday - Friday
Full-time benefits are provided

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee laboratory services, manage operations, and supervise staff and budget in alignment with the laboratory's policies and protocols.

Strategic Development:
Foster staff development to achieve both new and ongoing objectives.
Oversee scheduling, training, time management, and continuous evaluation of all personnel under your supervision.
Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams and projects to advance the organization's overarching goals.

Conduct all assays in accordance with the laboratory's established protocols, validate test results, accurately transcribe, review, and report findings, and perform necessary computer functions to manage test data, verify procedures, and establish performance criteria.

Evaluate laboratory results to ensure accuracy.

Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and standardization of all instruments within designated timeframes, maintaining precise and current records of performance and quality control checks.

Identify any instrument malfunctions and take prompt corrective actions to restore proper functionality.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
Tennessee Supervisor's license
A minimum of 6 years of laboratory experience
Prior supervisory experience is preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Certification or eligibility by ASCP or equivalent
