AEL is in search of a Laboratory Operations Manager for the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our laboratory team, you will:
- Organize and oversee laboratory services, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance staff capabilities and achieve organizational objectives.
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for all team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the laboratory's mission.
- Conduct assays in accordance with laboratory protocols, ensuring the accuracy and validity of test results.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments, maintaining detailed records of quality control measures.
- Identify and rectify any instrument malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.
- A valid Tennessee Supervisor's license.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification or eligibility by ASCP or an equivalent body.
