Manning Personnel Group, Inc. is in search of a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Receptionist and Office Assistant. This position involves a range of administrative responsibilities, providing support to senior professionals, ensuring the office operates efficiently, and engaging in various special projects as required. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and uphold security protocols by adhering to procedures; maintaining the visitor log and issuing identification badges.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately within the organization.
  • Oversee the maintenance of employee personnel records, including conducting quarterly reviews.
  • Support the recruitment process as needed.
  • Assist with various office initiatives and projects.
  • Handle the dispatch of mail/packages and ensure proper sorting and distribution to staff.
  • Coordinate daily meal orders for the office and meetings in collaboration with external catering services.
  • Manage weekly procurement of snacks, beverages, and office supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and copy areas, including food and supply orders, and assist with the setup and breakdown of daily lunches.
  • Take responsibility for updating and managing the central contacts database and scheduling conference rooms, addressing any conflicts that arise.
  • Regularly update the company website and social media accounts as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role, preferably in a fast-paced professional setting.
  • Exhibit flexibility and professionalism, with the ability to prioritize and anticipate needs effectively.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, while also being capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Compensation

  • Salary range of $60,000 to $65,000.
