Currently, we are seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager for Project Management focused on purchased parts. This role entails:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee the complete process from Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Engineering Change Release (ECR).
  • Strategic Sourcing: Classify components and develop a comprehensive bundling strategy.
  • Global Collaboration: Engage with international teams to execute localization strategies and manage relocation projects.
  • Sample Management: Coordinate sample orders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Change Management: Implement and manage changes for procured components.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including development, purchasing, and suppliers, to ensure project success.
  • Cost Optimization: Facilitate workshops to explore cost-saving opportunities through design and supplier optimization.
  • Budget Planning: Manage tool cost planning for both short-term and long-term objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, or project management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and cost calculations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong goal orientation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of project targets in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Act as the purchasing representative in ongoing projects.
  • Facilitate coordination between business units and purchasing teams.
  • Lead initiatives for cost-saving projects and report on their success.
