Position Overview

We are in search of a results-oriented Lead Survey Project Strategist with a strong focus on business growth to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee all facets of survey projects from inception to completion, with a significant emphasis on expanding our clientele and nurturing relationships with current clients. This position demands exceptional project management abilities, a thorough understanding of survey techniques, and a proven history of success in business development within the market research domain.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business avenues within the market research industry.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to broaden the company’s client portfolio.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and convert them into lucrative business opportunities.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to seize opportunities and mitigate risks.

Project Management:

  • Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of survey projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (researchers, data analysts, programmers, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet project goals.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster strong, enduring relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback, assess satisfaction, and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions and recommendations to enhance their projects.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert insights on survey methodologies, data analysis, and actionable recommendations.

What You Bring to SAM

  • A proven history of business development success within the market research sector, particularly in survey projects.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of survey methodologies, data collection techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Professional License is preferred.
