Job Overview:
We are in search of a highly experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) Projects to oversee and direct our API manufacturing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in chemical engineering along with substantial expertise in project oversight within the API manufacturing sector.
This position necessitates strategic planning, execution, and management of projects to guarantee timely completion, budget adherence, and the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee and coordinate multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Planning and Scheduling:
Formulate comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource distribution to facilitate effective project execution.
Budget Management:
Develop and oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control strategies to ensure financial compliance.
Team Leadership:
Guide and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, promoting a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
Risk Management:
Recognize potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to reduce impact on timelines and budgets.
Vendor Management:
Negotiate agreements and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely provision of materials and services.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, maintaining exceptional quality and safety levels.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any arising issues.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and implement best practices to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation:
Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, reports, and correspondence, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards and industry guidelines, including GMP and FDA regulations.
Qualifications:
B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
10 to 17 years of relevant experience in project management within the API manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to API manufacturing.
Preferred Skills:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Familiarity with advanced project management software and tools.
Experience in managing international projects and cross-functional teams.
