Your Role

As an Industrial Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting LJC's leadership in expanding our market presence. Your responsibilities will include securing project commissions and contributing to talent acquisition efforts. You will also be instrumental in mentoring staff and fostering their professional growth while collaborating across various disciplines within LJC and our parent company, Clayco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the LJC team, consultants, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects on schedule and within budget through effective planning and communication.
  • Oversee communication and collaboration among team members, clients, and consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring adherence to established milestones.
  • Handle financial aspects including billings, collections, and profitability for projects under your supervision.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Participate in the recruitment and interviewing processes to attract top talent.
  • Represent LJC at community and civic engagements.
  • Embody LJC's core values of integrity, humility, and courage.
  • Contribute to LJC's Core Councils focusing on Culture, Integration, Practice, Process, and Sustainability.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in architecture and design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Preferred registration as an architect.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD/Revit, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building and coaching.
  • Experienced in client communications and relationship management.
