KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the project manager to identify and resolve issues related to constructability or scope during the preconstruction phase.
  • Engage in the formulation and final assessment of project scope, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of project strategies and commitments, including financial objectives, timelines, logistics, phases, milestones, and inspections.
  • Supervise all daily field activities to ensure site safety, construction progress, quality assurance, and cleanliness.
  • Work alongside the project manager to maintain an accurate and up-to-date project schedule that reflects any changes in project status while meeting cost and time requirements.
  • Surpass client expectations for each project by comprehending their needs, preferences, and corporate culture.
  • Maintain effective communication with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and any deviations from the project plan.
  • Foster positive relationships with subcontractors by engaging professionally and equitably with all vendors and instilling this philosophy within the project team.
  • Oversee and review punch list processes to ensure timely resolution of all items.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend plans, specifications, and scopes of work is essential.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting project deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a clean background, as numerous government projects are anticipated.
