Role Overview

In the capacity of Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting LJC's leadership, aiding in the firm's growth and outreach while identifying and securing future project opportunities and talent acquisition. This position entails mentoring and fostering the professional growth of team members, as well as collaborating across various disciplines within LJC and its parent company, Clayco, to ensure the success of our entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the LJC team, consultants, and clients to deliver outstanding projects on schedule and within budget through effective planning, oversight, and communication.
  • Manage interactions and communications among team members, clients, and consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring adherence to established milestones.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and profitability for projects under your management.
  • Support business development initiatives and pursuits.
  • Engage in recruitment and interviews of potential candidates to facilitate practice growth.
  • Act as a representative of LJC at community and civic events.
  • Embody LJC's core values of integrity, humility, and fearlessness.
  • Contribute to LJC's Core Councils, focusing on Culture, Integration, Practice, Process, and Sustainability.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in architecture and design.
  • Demonstrated success in project management roles.
  • Preferred registration as an architect.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD/Revit, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence and composure when presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for relationship-building and colleague mentoring.
  • Expertise in client communication and relationship management.
