Position Overview

As an Industrial Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting LJC's leadership in expanding our influence and securing future opportunities through project commissions and talent acquisition. This position requires a commitment to mentoring and guiding the professional growth of team members while collaborating across LJC's various disciplines and the broader Clayco organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the LJC team, clients, and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timelines and budgets through effective planning and communication.
  • Oversee communication and interactions among team members, clients, and consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to key milestones.
  • Handle financial aspects of projects, including billing, collections, and profitability management.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Participate in recruitment and interview processes to attract top talent.
  • Represent LJC at community and civic engagements.
  • Embody LJC's core values of integrity, humility, and courage.
  • Engage in LJC's Core Councils focused on Culture, Integration, Practice, Process, and Sustainability.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in architecture and design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Preferred registration as an architect.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD/Revit, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building and mentorship.
  • Experienced in client communications and relationship management.
