We invite you to consider our opening for the Senior Vice President of Operations position. This pivotal leadership role is essential for steering the growth and strategic vision of our brand. You will be tasked with formulating and executing business strategies aimed at enhancing market presence, uncovering new opportunities, and cultivating relationships that drive the company's overall success. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define the company's long-term objectives and promote sustainable growth. Your focus will be on continuously enhancing guest satisfaction while optimizing the financial performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business development and growth strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Identify emerging market trends, industry disruptions, and shifts in the competitive landscape to leverage new opportunities.
  • Work alongside ownership to establish long-term goals and initiatives that foster sustainable growth.
  • Initiate and cultivate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to broaden the company's reach.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development and sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for ownership, showcasing progress and areas for enhancement.
  • Engage directly at each property, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Collaborate across departments with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.
  • Partner with finance and executive teams to create budgets and financial plans for business development and sales initiatives.
  • Oversee expenditures and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
  • Facilitate statement meetings, prepare agendas, and identify key focus areas.
  • Recognize deficiencies and areas for improvement and implement redesigns.
Essential Competencies Include:
  • Exceptional English communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in delivering regular business reviews and performance updates to senior executives and ownership.
  • Expert-level understanding of financial data and hotel performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, strategic planning, and leadership.
  • Strong grasp of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive forces.
  • Ability to influence and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A high degree of professionalism with diplomatic communication at all levels, managing confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Leads a team of property general managers and corporate directors.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in Business Administration with a focus on hospitality.
  • Extensive multi-unit food and beverage operational experience, including banquets.
  • A minimum of 15 years in the hospitality sector.
  • A minimum of 10 years in a management capacity.
