Sales Support Representative

Role Overview

As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering sales assistance through case coverage, installations, and in-service training within the designated regions.

Collaboration

You will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and work in close partnership with Regional Sales Directors, Clinical Account Managers, and the Vice President of Sales.

Your primary focus will be to support the sales team by ensuring effective case coverage and facilitating in-service training.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to effectively educate clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Area Sales Manager to establish weekly objectives and performance expectations.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the current customer base and develop strategies to capitalize on these prospects.
Duties Include:
  • Conduct product presentations and in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals within the Acute Care sector.
  • Assist the Senior Area Sales Manager with case coverage at various client locations, providing essential sales support.
  • Build and nurture clinical relationships with physicians and medical staff to facilitate product demonstrations.
  • Secure orders from both existing and potential clients through on-site meetings or remote communications.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing customer interactions, quotes, orders, and any issues related to customer/vendor relationships.
  • Effectively communicate the value propositions of our product offerings to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system and monitor for potential opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in outside business-to-business sales is required.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively across teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
