Job Summary

This position supports the eSupplier Module by providing exceptional customer service and support to State suppliers and agencies. The incumbent will assist with the eSupplier Portal submission process, answer Supplier Maintenance related questions, and manage incoming emails into the Supplier email box.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides guidance and recommendations to state agencies, organizations, and vendors on fiscal oversight functions.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reconciles financial transactions, system processes, reports, and other financial data within integrated financial information systems.
  • Interprets and ensures compliance with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Researches and analyzes data, obtains and clarifies information, and troubleshoots discrepancies and errors.
  • Makes determinations and defines solutions to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Runs queries and prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports.
  • Participates in analyzing state accounting services, automated financial information system(s), or software application(s) to determine functional and technical requirements.
  • Conducts special assignments and projects, including system testing, upgrades, updates, and enhancements, statewide reporting, or compliance work.
  • Makes recommendations for changes to processes, procedures, and forms to improve efficiency and internal controls.
  • Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers and the public.
  • Communicates and interacts effectively with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, ages, and races.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in analyzing financial data or automated financial information system data, developing alternatives, and recommending solutions.
  • Two years' experience in compiling, analyzing, and reporting on financial data to ensure effective and efficient accounting of funds or to make projections for financial planning.
  • One year of experience in ensuring compliance with accounting or payroll laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • One year of experience in making recommendations for changes or improvements to financial processes, procedures, forms, or automated information systems.
