Territory Sales Manager

US Foods is seeking a skilled Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers, driving sales and profitability goals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, selling food and non-food items, and leveraging resources to achieve top penetration opportunities and new account openings.
Key Responsibilities- Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
- Manage deliveries to published routing schedules, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the credit department and clients
- Collect accounts receivable, work with the credit department, and collect balances due based on approved credit terms
- Develop new business by identifying prospective customers, utilizing market intelligence databases, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, sharing information with customers as part of value-added services
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and customer service skills
- Ability to build internal and external relationships, cold call to develop new business, and work in a team environment
- Competitive spirit, results-driven mentality, problem-solving ability, and negotiation skills

US Foods is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $61,500 and $92,300. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation.
