We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Manager to join our team at VESTIS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a designated service territory and leading a team of Route Sales Representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to drive customer retention and growth within your territory
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to your team members to ensure their success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage day-to-day activities of customer service programs and ensure timely resolution of service requests
- Conduct regular visits to customers to review growth and service opportunities
- Lead by example and set clear expectations for customer service
- Recruit, select, and hire Route Sales employees
- Deliver and participate in training to ensure customer retention and service goals are met
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Two years of service and route-based industry experience, with proven track record for growing customer accounts
- Previous profit and loss accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred
- Significant customer interface and service experience
- Production planning, maintenance, or warehouse operations experience preferred
The majority of your time will be spent driving your own vehicle or company step-van to call on customers and supervise employees in the assigned service territory. You will be exposed to weather conditions in the area and may need to walk, climb stairs, push/pull carts, and lift up to 50 pounds.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $67,000 to $80,000, depending on circumstances, and additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
