About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the US Foods team as a Territory Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Sell food and non-food items to customers, focusing on value-added services and solutions.
  • Manage customer deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Collect accounts receivable and work with the credit department to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mentality and competitive spirit.
  • Problem-solving ability and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, often in variable weather conditions. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and drive a motor vehicle is also required.
