Automotive Title Processing Specialist

Position Overview:
The Automotive DMV/Title Clerk is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks related to vehicle documentation, particularly titles. This role involves engaging with customers and colleagues to ensure a high level of professionalism and courtesy, ultimately leading to complete customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wholesale DMV Clerk in the automotive sector. The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks is essential. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of vehicle documentation, including title processing.
- Deliver timely and precise reports as needed.
- Handle DMV paperwork for wholesale transactions.
- Perform daily data entry tasks, including sale announcements, title statuses, and DMV penalties.
- Scan and attach title documents to the appropriate vehicle records in the system.
- Process title information using the Auction Master system and ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with dealerships to track the status of missing titles.
- Collaborate with team members for effective follow-up on all interactions.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wholesale Automotive DMV Clerk is required (only candidates with automotive experience will be considered).
- Exceptional telephone communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- A friendly demeanor and a helpful attitude.
- Highly professional and reliable.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with DMV/MVSC DESK programs is a plus.
- Knowledge of out-of-state titles is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic, including maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- Consistent attendance is required.
