In 1999, Maryann and Tony Croce established Croce's Transmission Specialists, a high-tech, full-service automotive repair facility. Mary's knowledge of banking, management, and customer service perfectly complements Tony's years of technical training and repair experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

As an auto mechanic on our team, you are extremely important to our success as you ensure properly functioning vehicles and equipment. On a day-to-day basis, you conduct routine maintenance, diagnose problems with inspection software, perform repairs, and work on transmissions. Additionally, you disassemble and reassemble parts as well as keep logs of all the work that's performed. You also examine vehicles to determine if additional safety work is needed and notify the service advisor. As a diligent worker, you follow checklists and the proper safety procedures. You enjoy working on new things each day and making our customers feel safe and happy in their rides

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

  • 2-3 years of verifiable Automotive Tech experience
  • Clean driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in different weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
  • Basic computer skills
  • Need to have your tools

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification, experience as an auto technician, and knowledge about transmissions are a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person Do you have solid written and verbal communication skills? Are you detail-oriented? Can you explain mechanical information clearly and in layman's terms? Are you friendly and able to easily establish a good rapport with people? If yes, you might just be perfect for this auto mechanic position

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 4:30 pm. No weekends
