Job Summary:

The Automotive Title Clerk is responsible for managing vehicle documentation, including title information, and providing timely and accurate reports as required. This role requires excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vehicle documentation, including title information, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports as required to support business operations.
  • Process DMV paperwork for wholesale vehicles, including sale announcements, status of titles, and DMV penalties.
  • Perform daily data entry, including scanning title documents and attaching them to the correct vehicle in the system.
  • Verify title information in the Auction Master system and communicate with dealerships to obtain the status of missing titles.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure follow-up on all interactions and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a USED WHOLESALE Automotive DMV Clerk, with a strong understanding of automotive documentation and DMV procedures.
  • Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask, with a strong work ethic and good attendance record.
  • Knowledge of DMV/MVSC DESK program and out-of-state titles is a plus.
