Job Overview

Join our team at Interstate Advanced Materials as a full-time Sales Account Executive. Position Summary:

Oversee both new and existing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude, which is essential for our collective success.
  • Address customer inquiries through multiple communication channels.
  • Build and nurture a loyal customer base.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities while managing a robust pipeline of prospects.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Document and update sales activities and customer data in the company CRM.
  • Organize daily tasks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Provide competitive pricing for our products and services to optimize profit margins.
  • Handle customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and negotiate purchases as necessary.
  • Receive industry-specific training.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in inside sales; direct experience with plastics is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in phone and computer operations.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required (including decimal and fraction conversions).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • A proactive, outgoing, and positive demeanor is essential.
