  • Establish, track, and ensure the timely achievement of both short-term and long-term objectives and action plans.
  • Assist the plant manager in implementing operational enhancements aimed at cost reduction and productivity improvement through the adoption of innovative technologies and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to optimize efficiency.
  • Plan, oversee, and implement the capital asset program in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan and established guidelines.
  • Provide daily operational guidance for mechanics, electricians, technical specialists, and related personnel.
  • Foster a workplace culture within manufacturing that encourages trust, collaboration, quality, and safety. Develop, assess, train, and mentor team members.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality products in accordance with federal and state regulations. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Maintain or establish relationships with equipment suppliers.

Position Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: Over 5 years in maintenance management is desirable.
  • Experience: More than 5 years in engineering is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project; familiarity with Automated Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Process Control (PCs) is beneficial.
  • Preferred Certifications: Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing Principles.
  • Additional Skills: Strong customer service, communication, organizational, analytical, supervisory, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in budget management and large-scale inventory oversight.
  • Project management experience, including capital project development and cost estimation. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, 5S implementation/sustainability, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) strategies is advantageous. Ability to engage with and comply with regulatory bodies.

Salary Range: $113,900 - $133,952
