Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Coordinator to assist our Human Resources team. This position encompasses various HR functions, including onboarding, orientation, benefits management, performance evaluation, and fostering employee engagement. The HR Coordinator will also act as the front desk representative, ensuring a welcoming environment for both visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees: prepare offer letters, conduct background checks, and manage necessary documentation.
  • Organize and lead orientation sessions to ensure seamless integration into the organization.

Benefits Management:

  • Assist in overseeing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with enrollment processes.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Support the execution and monitoring of performance evaluation processes.
  • Coordinate performance review timelines and ensure timely completion of evaluations.

Employee Engagement:

  • Design and implement employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in conducting employee surveys and gathering feedback to enhance workplace culture.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Attendance & Disciplinary Actions:

  • Manage attendance tracking systems and ensure accurate records.
  • Issue warnings based on attendance patterns and company policies.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and serve as a witness during meetings.
  • Provide translation support to supervisors as necessary.

Reception Duties:

  • Act as the primary contact for visitors and employees, providing a friendly and professional front desk presence.
  • Handle general inquiries and oversee front desk operations.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department and support other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Prior experience in an HR or administrative capacity is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive with the capability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position.
  • Occasional overtime may be necessary during peak times or special projects.
  • Diverse work environment, including office and production areas.
  • Regular interaction with employees and visitors.

Compensation Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
