Position: HR Support Specialist

Location: Durham, NC

Compensation: $17.50/hour

Experience Required:

  • Background in customer-facing roles within retail or hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with HR shared service environments is advantageous
  • Experience with HR software such as Workday or ServiceNow is beneficial

Educational Background:

Employment Type: Full-time; Contract

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Greene Resources is in search of a HR Support Specialist to become part of a vibrant and evolving team.

Job Overview:

  • Act as the primary point of contact, delivering outstanding customer service to employees, managers, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and HR Business Partners.
  • Facilitate communications through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions as necessary.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the case management system and escalate complex issues as directed by management.
  • Ensure all information is precise and complies with corporate standards promptly.
  • Provide clear and accurate responses to inquiries regarding a wide range of HR policies, practices, and processes, including benefits, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Support the HR Department's mission to foster employee opportunities and satisfaction.
  • Encourage feedback on HR processes and identify enhancements to company policies aimed at improving the employee experience.
  • Engage in team projects and initiatives as requested.

Position Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, coaching, and negotiation.
  • Strong listening abilities and a commitment to personal development.
  • Capability to collaborate with diverse perspectives and appreciate varied experiences and backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly via phone, chat, or in person.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
