Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees: prepare offer letters, conduct background checks, and manage necessary documentation.
  • Organize and lead new hire orientations to ensure seamless integration into the organization.

Benefits Management:

  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and support enrollment processes.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Aid in the execution and monitoring of performance evaluation processes.
  • Coordinate performance review timelines and ensure timely completion of evaluations.

Employee Engagement:

  • Organize and implement employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Assist in conducting employee surveys and gathering feedback to improve workplace culture.
  • Support efforts to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Attendance & Disciplinary Procedures:

  • Oversee the attendance tracking system and ensure accurate monitoring of attendance records.
  • Issue warnings in accordance with attendance policies.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and act as a witness during related meetings.
  • Provide translation support to supervisors as required.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for visitors and employees, providing a friendly and professional front desk presence.
  • Manage general inquiries and oversee front desk operations.

Administrative Assistance:

  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative capacity is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
Working Environment
  • Full-time role.
  • Occasional overtime may be necessary during busy periods or special projects.
  • Diverse work setting including office and production areas.
  • Regular interaction with employees and visitors.
Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Employees have the flexibility to select coverage that suits their individual needs. Additionally, associates may qualify for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave mandated by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
