Position Summary:

The Chief Human Resources Officer will be instrumental in crafting and executing human resources strategies that resonate with the company's mission and core values. This role encompasses the management of all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 5-10 direct and indirect reports globally and work closely with senior leadership to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that empowers all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs aimed at attracting and retaining top-tier talent.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to HR team members, cultivating a high-performance culture and encouraging professional growth.
  • Assess, select, and deploy HRIS platforms to optimize HR processes and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally, while proactively managing compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate organizational needs and devise workforce planning strategies to meet current and future talent demands.
  • Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, fostering a culture of belonging and respect.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring equitable and consistent practices.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to drive HR-related projects and initiatives, promoting a collaborative and results-driven approach.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership capacity within a global manufacturing or comparable industry.
  • SHRM-CP or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with M&A integration is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions, with a proven ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business outcomes and enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams towards excellence.
  • Experience in managing compensation and benefits programs, including design, administration, and benchmarking.
  • Proficient in evaluating and implementing HRIS platforms to enhance HR operations and data analytics capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
