Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Human Resources Operations plays a pivotal role in driving HR operational excellence within Strata Solar LLC. This leadership position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Retirement Planning, HR Information Systems (HRIS), Training, and Policy & Compliance oversight. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent Management and other essential stakeholders to ensure that HR Operations initiatives align with the company's overarching HR strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on matters related to employee relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), compliance issues, policies, procedures, performance management, and legal concerns.
  • Oversee the New Hire Orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
  • Implement a comprehensive leave management strategy to enhance and streamline leave administration.
  • Design and deliver managerial and compliance training programs for all employees, utilizing diverse training methodologies and tools to maximize effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and manage base pay and incentive compensation programs, including compensation philosophy, job classification, job family structures, and job pricing criteria.
  • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of all employee benefits plans, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Retirement options.
  • Conduct research and analysis to recommend enhancements to existing benefits plans, ensuring cost-effective services for employees; lead negotiations with benefit plan vendors.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to compensation and benefits offerings.
  • Oversee the implementation, execution, and management of HRIS.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.

Supervisory Duties:

  • This position will supervise teams focused on Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and HRIS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in management and/or operational leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations is required.
  • HR certification(s) are a plus.
