Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Assistant to provide support to our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be involved in various HR activities, including onboarding, employee orientation, benefits management, performance assessment, and fostering employee engagement. This role also encompasses front desk responsibilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including the preparation of offer letters and managing necessary documentation.
  • Organize and conduct orientation sessions to ensure a seamless integration into the company.

Benefits Management:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and support enrollment processes.

Performance Assessment:

  • Support the execution and monitoring of performance management initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance review timelines and ensure evaluations are completed promptly.

Employee Engagement:

  • Participate in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Assist in gathering employee feedback through surveys to enhance workplace culture.
  • Support programs aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Attendance & Disciplinary Management:

  • Oversee the attendance tracking system, ensuring accurate records.
  • Issue warnings based on attendance policies and assist in disciplinary procedures as required.
  • Provide translation support for supervisors when necessary.

Reception Duties:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and employees, maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Manage general inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related documents and reports as required.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Bilingual - English/Spanish

Prior experience in an HR or administrative capacity is advantageous.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects. The role involves a diverse working environment, including both office and production areas, with regular interaction with employees and visitors.
