We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Duke Health. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic partner with assigned business units to develop and implement people management and development practices.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of HR programs supporting organizational strategic objectives, including creating and maintaining a model workplace.
- Provide expert consulting to management while also acting as an employee champion and change agent.
- Proactively develop plans to ensure goals are reached and best practice/best in class is consistently implemented.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, culture and engagement, business objectives and goals of the business unit.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic human resources planning, human resources program development, diversity and inclusiveness strategies, and analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Strong consulting, project management, and business literacy skills, with knowledge of lean process improvement.
