Field Sales Representative for Parts

About the Position:
The role of an Outside Parts Sales Representative involves assisting customers with their parts and service requirements by directing them to the suitable branch. Key responsibilities include managing established sales routes, responding to customer inquiries via phone for technical support, and delivering parts as required.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts sales outreach to both existing and potential customers from the branch office.
- Employs suggestive selling methods to boost additional sales opportunities.
- Assists with quoting requests as necessary.
- Establishes a weekly schedule for personal sales visits.
- May perform retail counter duties at the branch location on occasion.
- Retrieves and organizes items from the parts warehouse to maintain a well-stocked and orderly parts vehicle.
- Operates the parts delivery vehicle to customer locations, which may occasionally require overnight stays, and unloads sold items as needed.
- Regularly inspects parts inventory and recommends orders for replacements.
- Stays informed about company product updates, technological advancements, and industry trends.
- Completes other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in parts sales for tank trailers or heavy equipment is preferred. A willingness to travel daily, including some overnight trips, is essential.
