Role Overview:

This position plays a crucial role in shaping the future of space exploration. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in ensuring the success of our spaceflight missions.

You will apply standard engineering principles and methodologies to design, plan, model, execute, and interpret tests for aerospace systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and analyze testing of components, subsystems, and integrated vehicles to ensure compliance with requirements and validate operational capabilities.
  • Develop, release, and support engineering documentation throughout the development cycle to facilitate verification, testing, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of measurement data and ensure that testing procedures adhere to industry standards.
  • Provide safe, repeatable, and high-quality testing capabilities that explore the operational limits and verify requirements for current and future aerospace systems.
Qualifications:

Applicants should have successfully completed an internship with Blue Origin. Candidates must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a college or university, with the ability to begin full-time employment. A minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on fast-paced development projects, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for Blue Origin's mission.

Preferred Qualifications:

An M.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or electrical engineering is desirable.
