Role Summary

As a Parenting Support Coordinator, you will deliver educational training to parents, including the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) and specialized training provided by the organization.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate meetings between youth in foster care and their biological parents, providing guidance
  • Assist group members with integration techniques and application skills
  • Lead group meetings and encourage member participation
  • Provide necessary information to the foster care team
  • Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement processes and standards
  • Complete 20 hours of annual training, including 3 hours focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, education, psychology, or sociology
  • Experience in teaching and/or training in a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment
  • Professional communication skills with coworkers, clients, donors, and vendors
  • Basic knowledge of and/or training in the Missouri Foster Care program (preferred)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and time constraints
