Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

The Human Resources Executive at CitySquare is a proactive and innovative leader tasked with overseeing all HR operations. This includes, but is not limited to, developing a comprehensive recruitment and candidate engagement strategy, guiding new employees through their journey at CitySquare, and implementing effective employee relations strategies. The HR Executive will also act as a mentor and advisor to team members regarding HR practices such as performance management and employment termination.

Additionally, this role involves managing employee benefits and compensation strategies to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the organization's mission. The HR Executive will ensure compliance with federal regulations, including but not limited to Worker’s Compensation, OSHA, COBRA, FLSA, and FMLA. The development and implementation of essential policies and procedures, as well as the evaluation of employee training and development initiatives, will also fall under this position's purview.

Key objectives for the initial year include:

  • Assessment and implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Strategies for enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Review and revision of compensation and policies
  • Revitalization of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Human Resource management, ideally with a background in non-profit organizations.

Licensure/Certification: PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

Additional Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems. Flexibility to work occasional overtime and adaptable hours as needed.

SALARY RANGE: $85,000-100,000, depending on experience.
