Senior Human Resources Partner - Consumer Finance

About the Position:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Human Resources Partner (Senior HRP) to join our Enterprise Human Resources Consulting team, focusing on the Consumer Finance sector. This role is essential in fostering collaboration and delivering strategic HR guidance to senior management, leading to effective human capital strategies and metrics for our internal client groups. The impact of this position will be significant, enhancing the success of teams through targeted human capital initiatives and expert consultation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture partnerships to build trust and accountability with all stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching to senior leaders aimed at enhancing their leadership capabilities.
  • Oversee complex projects that span multiple functions and have a wide-reaching impact.
  • Exhibit leadership in change management, challenging conventional practices with innovative recommendations to optimize human capital.
  • Analyze intricate, large-scale business challenges that necessitate a thorough evaluation of various factors.
  • Deliver forward-thinking, strategic HR consultation, resulting in comprehensive human capital strategies for complex business functions.
  • Utilize knowledge of business objectives to identify needs, opportunities, and risks related to HR programs, workforce engagement, and organizational performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of human capital strategies, recommending necessary adjustments to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to identify opportunities for influencing and leading change that enhances performance at all levels.
  • Adopt the Human Resources Operating Model by proactively collaborating with internal partners to drive positive outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Partner or equivalent experience through various professional avenues.

  • Experience in HR disciplines, particularly in supporting strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Proven ability to partner and influence at the executive level.
  • Understanding of organizational design principles.
  • Capability to develop and implement business strategies and objectives.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess issues and implement solutions effectively.
  • Proficient in analyzing data to identify opportunities and necessary interventions.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Experience in diversity and inclusion consulting.
  • Professionalism and integrity in interactions with all levels of employees and management.
  • Track record of creating and executing human capital plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in change leadership.
  • Familiarity with various HR disciplines such as talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Experience in providing executive coaching to senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding HR support as a trusted, results-oriented leader.
  • Excellent consulting and influencing skills with business executives and HR partners.
  • Relevant experience in a large corporate HR environment.
  • Experience in succession planning and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position requires onsite presence in designated locations.
