Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, assess, and revise HR policies and procedures to guarantee alignment with existing laws and regulations.
  • Examine HR policies and practices to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and propose modifications.
  • Conduct investigations into HR trends, legal stipulations, and best practices to guide policy formulation.
  • Work in conjunction with HR and legal departments to resolve compliance challenges and enact new policies.
  • Compile reports and presentations regarding policy modifications, updates, and compliance conditions.
  • Offer direction and assistance to HR personnel and management on policy interpretation and execution.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of HR policies and practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Remain informed about shifts in employment law and industry benchmarks to ensure policies stay pertinent and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR policy formulation, compliance, or a related capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
