Core Responsibilities:
- Formulate, assess, and revise HR policies and procedures to guarantee alignment with existing laws and regulations.
- Examine HR policies and practices to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and propose modifications.
- Conduct investigations into HR trends, legal stipulations, and best practices to guide policy formulation.
- Work in conjunction with HR and legal departments to resolve compliance challenges and enact new policies.
- Compile reports and presentations regarding policy modifications, updates, and compliance conditions.
- Offer direction and assistance to HR personnel and management on policy interpretation and execution.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of HR policies and practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Remain informed about shifts in employment law and industry benchmarks to ensure policies stay pertinent and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Proven experience in HR policy formulation, compliance, or a related capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
