Job Summary

The Chief Human Resources Officer at Dallas HR is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive team and ensure that the firm's human capital serves the best interests of the business and is aligned with its goals and objectives.
  2. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the organization's compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and manage risk by developing and implementing policies and procedures that mitigate HR-related risks.
  3. HR Planning and Strategy: Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives, and function as a strategic business advisor to the executives and senior management of each department regarding key organizational and management issues.
  4. Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals, and develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  5. Performance Management: Implement and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, and provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and employee development.
  6. Training and Development: Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs, ensuring they meet organizational needs and employee growth objectives, and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  7. Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment and culture that promotes our People First value, employee engagement, satisfaction, growth, and equal opportunity.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years in a senior leadership role.
  2. A Professional in Human Resources Certification or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
  3. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  5. Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
