Primary Duties:
- Formulate, assess, and revise HR policies and protocols to guarantee alignment with prevailing laws and regulations.
- Examine HR policies and methodologies to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and propose modifications.
- Engage in research regarding HR trends, legal mandates, and exemplary practices to guide policy formulation.
- Partner with HR and legal departments to resolve compliance challenges and enact new policies.
- Compile reports and presentations concerning policy modifications, updates, and compliance evaluations.
- Offer direction and assistance to HR personnel and management on policy interpretation and execution.
- Evaluate and monitor the efficacy of HR policies and practices, providing suggestions for improvements.
- Remain informed about shifts in employment legislation and industry benchmarks to ensure policies stay pertinent and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Experience in HR policy formulation, compliance, or a similar capacity.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
