Position Overview

As a Managing Director at Sia Partners, you will be a pivotal leader driving the firm's success and strategic direction. Your role will encompass Business Development, Account Management, Consulting Delivery, and People Leadership.

In your capacity as the primary architect of new business initiatives and revenue generation, you will leverage your extensive network to attract new clients and foster growth for the firm. You will be expected to broaden your connections, enhance existing relationships, and nurture new partnerships.

As a key figure in expertise development, you will serve as a vital resource for industry best practices, offering guidance and thought leadership to support our clients on their transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting Delivery
    • Exhibit strong time management skills across various projects, demonstrating a keen ability to problem-solve and provide proactive solutions for both Sia Partners and our clients. You will lead, structure, and facilitate meetings while employing diverse tools and methodologies to align with client needs and culture. A collaborative approach is essential to support client delivery and growth.
    • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects and programs while providing support and guidance to team members. You will lead strategic meetings and share best practices to navigate complex challenges.
  • Business Expertise
    • Play a central role in developing new client relationships and engagements, contributing to revenue growth while serving as a subject matter expert in Digital and Business Transformation.
    • Contribute valuable insights to enhance the organization's strategic decision-making processes and the development of new strategic solutions.
  • Business Development
    • Achieve a minimum revenue generation of $1.5 million.
    • Manage revenue of at least $1 million.
    • Engage actively in market-facing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness and the reputation of Sia Partners.
  • People Management
    • Lead team-based projects, set goals, and provide coaching and evaluation to support the growth of consultants and team members. Identify areas for internal improvement and adopt a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Leadership
    • Offer guidance and support to foster consultants' development and followership.
    • Participate actively as a member of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee.

Qualifications

  • Currently based in the Philadelphia area with a robust local network.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client delivery and new client development.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading sales and business development efforts to enhance existing client relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new clients and deliver consulting services while nurturing new client relationships.
  • 7+ years of consulting experience, particularly in digital transformation within large, global corporate environments.
  • Expertise in Digital Transformation with strengths in areas such as IT Strategy development, enterprise software selection and implementation, Agile Project Management, IT Service Management, enterprise architecture, data migration, AI and data analytics, RPA, and more.
  • Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing sector, with a preference for the chemical industry.
  • Broad knowledge of commercial software solutions, tools, technical standards, and integration techniques.
  • A passion for guiding and coaching delivery teams.
