Your ResponsibilitiesAs a vital member of the Private Client Services team, Senior Tax Consultants engage in tax strategy, advisory, and compliance for a diverse clientele, including entrepreneurs, executives, partnerships, closely-held enterprises, estates, and trusts. You will prepare and review tax documents while overseeing the contributions of Experienced Associates on various projects. A strong technical foundation in tax strategy, advisory, and compliance for both federal and state submissions is essential.
Senior Tax Consultants maintain regular interactions with management and are expected to assist Managers in identifying and analyzing various client challenges, while consistently communicating with clients.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree is required;
- Preferred fields include Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines, with a minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Advanced credentials are preferred (e.g., CPA or JD);
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within an accounting firm;
- Demonstrated leadership, multitasking, and organizational capabilities;
- Proactive in seeking opportunities in a dynamic environment;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Able to engage with and earn the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Proficient in technology, including MS Excel and tax preparation software;
- Self-motivated with the initiative to pursue opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting;
- Meticulous attention to detail.
