POSITION OVERVIEW

We are excited to present the opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineer at Barry-Wehmiller. In this role, you will be integral to a skilled team dedicated to delivering advanced solutions across diverse sectors. Below are the key responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Ignition and Sepasoft applications with a primary focus on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) solutions.
  • Collaborating on significant engineering projects, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Managing the onsite initiation of deployed systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Customizing project specifications to align with manufacturing needs.
  • Coordinating multiple project initiatives while maintaining communication with stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 4 years of expertise in System Integration and SCADA/industrial software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ignition Perspective and the Sepasoft MES platform.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure in manufacturing settings.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for project execution.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering.
