Position Overview:

SLR is in search of a dedicated professional to assist in advancing social impact initiatives. This role will provide expert guidance to organizations on their journey towards social responsibility and will contribute to the expansion of B4SI throughout the North American sector.

The selected candidate will be a vital member of the global B4SI team, bringing a wealth of experience in sustainability, community investment, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or responsible business practices. Responsibilities will encompass project management, client relations, business development, and thought leadership.

The Senior Client Manager will play a crucial role in crafting and executing strategies that enable businesses to enhance their societal contributions through effective implementation and thorough evaluation.

This position will serve as a link between our social impact consulting services and the B4SI network, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

While the role is primarily based in the Eastern Time Zone, occasional international travel may be required.

Reporting to a senior member of the B4SI team, the Senior Client Manager will collaborate closely with colleagues across the EMEA and APAC regions to meet organizational, team, and project goals.

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge:
  • 4-5 years of experience in sustainability, business, consulting, or social impact assessment.
  • Proven ability to foster strong relationships with clients and provide expert guidance in utilizing the B4SI Frameworks and methodologies.
  • Direct experience in a client-facing role related to social impact.
  • Understanding of the ESG agenda, Corporate Responsibility, and Sustainability with a focus on Social Impact.
  • Experience in data analytics to enhance the value of B4SI and support member companies in making informed decisions.
  • Proficient in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to handle multiple client inquiries simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for producing written reports and delivering presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client delivery and project management, ensuring clear communication of client goals to stakeholders.
  • Support a portfolio of businesses in the B4SI Network through consistent account management.
  • Deliver client projects focused on enhancing approaches to measuring societal impact.
  • Analyze data and prepare presentations and reports for clients.
  • Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely completion of milestones and action items.
Business Development and Engagement:
  • Draft proposals with approval from senior team members.
  • Participate in new business meetings, conducting research and scoping.
  • Build partnerships with key industry stakeholders in North America.
  • Plan and deliver social impact knowledge-sharing opportunities.
  • Contribute to B4SI's thought leadership through research and article drafting.
Global Team Engagement:

Collaborate with the global B4SI team to achieve objectives and ensure effective alignment between consulting services and the B4SI network.
