Position Overview

The Head of Human Resources Operations will oversee the HR Operations team, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of all administrative functions within Human Resources. This role emphasizes exceptional service and a positive experience for all team members. Key responsibilities include managing HR Compliance & Regulatory Requirements, HR Service Center, HR Technology, Benefits Administration, Compensation Management, Employee Relations, and Recruiting and Onboarding Support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary direction and leadership for the HR operations team. Mentor and develop team members to enhance capabilities and engagement.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine HR processes and workflows to boost efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. Implement innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop policies and procedures that foster a culture of compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Financial Oversight: Create and manage the HR operations budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional HR teams and other departments such as Finance, Legal, and IT to align HR operations with broader organizational goals. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of HR experience in a leadership role or as a high-level professional contributor is required. Expertise in HR functions, best practices, and legal requirements is essential. Leadership experience in an HR Shared Service delivery model is preferred.

Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners. Excellent analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders. Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, budget development, and project management is crucial.

Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP preferred; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
