Position Summary: The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in executing recruitment strategies aligned with organizational staffing goals, focusing on attracting top-tier technical talent for positions such as Fiber Data Centers, Security, Audio/Visual, and Structured Cabling Technicians, Supervisors, Project Managers, and Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify recruitment needs by assessing organizational development plans.
  • Source and engage qualified low voltage talent, negotiating compensation and employment terms.
  • Collaborate with management to define recruiting requirements.
  • Implement effective recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Analyze job positions to create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
  • Clarify job specifications, competencies, and required skills.
  • Align candidate profiles with staffing objectives.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and referrals.
  • Maintain professional networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone interviews and document candidate experiences.
  • Evaluate resumes and qualifications to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Provide ongoing updates and feedback to management.
  • Oversee the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure an accurate and up-to-date applicant database.
  • Extend job offers in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manage job offer negotiations and administration.
  • Stay informed about sourcing strategies and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state recruitment regulations and Affirmative Action.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process in partnership with HR, IT, and Administrative Services.
  • Be willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of structured cabling recruiting experience.
  • Preferred experience in staffing agency recruiting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in candidate sourcing solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of general recruiting principles.
  • Familiarity with staffing systems and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic under pressure.
  • Familiarity with standard office automation products.
  • High energy and detail-oriented.
  • Strong command of the English language for effective communication.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: The standard work environment for this role is an indoor business office and construction setting. The ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods is required. The noise level is typically moderate. Regular duties include sitting, talking, using hands, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may need to climb ladders up to 20 feet. The role may involve working in confined spaces and requires regular and punctual attendance. Occasional travel may be necessary.
